Remboelan

Remboelan is an Indonesian Restaurant in Plaza Senayan. It used to be Wien Cafe I think but that's quite some time ago. The atmosphere of that particular spot is somehow romantic. Private setting, circular shaped restaurant with a beautiful stairway, this place has always been a spot for love birds.

Remboelan's version of Dendeng Balado is a bit weird. The goal is a crunchy, spicy and savoury thin slices of beef. This one, is tissue-thin. Resulting in a crumbly kind of paper-meat. Aside from the weird texture, taste wise it's good.

I don't really remember the name of the dish. I think it's one of their specialty with kecombrang as the main ingredient. The sauce is rather bland, the fish has a weird smell. No likey

Another mediocre dish. Cute presentation but nothing special for the taste.

Star of the dinner. A yummy kue lupis and gemblong. The Kue Lupis is thick and chewy with thick brown sugar sauce. Yummyyy

Overall, I don't think this place serves good food. Cute food yeah, comfy atmosphere yeah but yummy food? Don't think so..
