101 Rolls

After the exhausting exam, we decided to have lunch. Unfortunately, Pudel Perek refused to have lunch at TA.... (Damn... I want my Hoka Hoka Bento) After a long discussion, we decided to have lunch in Green Ville / Taman Ratu area. Since I wanted to have Japanese, Ratu Iblis took us to try a new resto, 101 Rolls. The decor is minimalist contemporary. There's some paintings and modern art thingy hung on the walls. The cafe/lounge is rather dark and hot (since the AC wasn't turned on....). There's a 20% discount until the end of June I guess..

The food
1. Mariachi Nachos (Rp. 24.800)
Standard issue nachos.. The chips are not crispy!!! The portion is quite big but guess what..... The chips are only like 40% of the dish. The rest are chopped lettuce!!!!!!!!!!!


2. Barbecue Rosemary Spring Chicken (Rp. 26.800)
A big chicken leg drenched in BBQ sauce served with steam rice and mix vegetables. The rice is yummy!!!!!! Weird but it's true.... The mix vegetables are also nice.. buttery and has lots of pepper. The chicken is juicy, grilled to perfection and goes really really well with the steam rice. Yummy!


3. Duxel Mushroom Sirloin Wrap (Rp. 34.800)
A rolade like dish with black pepper sauce. Delicious!!!!


4. Sweet and Sour Chicken (Rp. 26.800)
A standard sweet and sour chicken. The meat is tender, the sauce has the right amount of sweetness and sourness. Again, the yumy rice.....


Nice place.... There's a Gelare counter also. Hearty portion and affordable price, definitely gonna come back for another lunch
