Ikiya

Yah kebetulan emank uda bukan lunch time en lagi hari biasa pula. Kita duduk di tatami area nya yang sebenernya cukup nyaman cuma agak sempit aja buat body bohay gw :p

The food:
1. Chicken Katsudon (Rp. 62.000)

Semangkuk besar nasi dengan chicken katsu yang diatasnya diberi saus + telur ala katsudon. The taste was ok.. Well balanced but shud aim for a bolder taste.

2. Chicken Teriyaki Set (Rp. 65.000)

A set of chicken teriyaki, gohan and soup. The chicken teriyaki is ok. I like the burnt taste of the chicken but the sauce is a bit plain and boring. It's nice but I expect more for an authentic place like this.

3. Mini Curry and Mini Soba Set (Rp. 71.500)

Again, some standard japanese dish. The portions are big but the taste is just standard. I like the soba but it's kinda boring. No meat, no flavorful soup, only 'kremesan' everywhere.

4. Ikiya Set (Rp. 88.000)

A set consists of gohan, a plate of tempura and a plate of sashimi. The tempura was nice :) Love the simplicity of the taste and the abundant portion. The sashimi was a bit wrong. The salmon are not fresh, I don't like ika sashimi and the tuna are just awful. A bit like Goemon, the sashimi menu is very disappointing

After we finished our meal, we were asked what kind of desert we wanted. We choose ice cream :)

In my opinion, the quality of the food is just standard. But the price is very very affordable. The prices above includes tax and service. The free-flow ocha is free and the dessert is a compliment!!! hehehehe

  3. Kalo liat dari review elu, gue ngerti kenapa restonya dinamai: Ikiya.... Mungkin itu adalah singkatan dari: "Iki Ya Opo Toh Mas? Ora Ono Rasane" hahahahaha.....
