Nuzzy

Nuzzy is a small restaurant in Central Park. Serving italian food and mousse, this is a great place to hang out with friends. The minimal design makes the place looks neat and chic. The fake garden in front of the restaurant meant for the smoking area is really cute. The see through glass gives u a clear view to the Tribeca Park. Really nice

The food:
1. Boom Droom Stick (Rp. 24.000/M)

6 pieces of chicken drumstick served with BBQ sauce. A bit to small for me but it's quite yummy. Very crispy yet tender :)

2. Roll Beef Mozzarela (Rp. 37.000)

Deep fried sliced beef with melted mozzarela on top. It's too chewy for me and rather bland. Don't like it...

3. Baked Lasagna (Rp. 55.000)

A big baked lasagna. It's just another lasagna with the perfect combination of everything. The right amount of cheese, bechamel, meat and pasta. One yummy dish :)

4. Canneloni (Rp. 55.000)

2 stuffed and rolled pasta on a bed of tomato sauce. The filling of the pasta is chicken and mushroom in white sauce. Topped with melted mozzarela cheese and basil sauce makes this dish YUMMY YUMMY!! They didn't just bake the mozza to get it melted but I think they burned it using some sort of fire gun. Just like the ones in sushi

5. Fettucine Chicken and Mushroom Cream with Beetroot (Rp. 55.000)

A standard issue homemade pasta. The beet only gives the colour red and do nothing to accentuate the pasta. The sauce doesn't have the creamy taste i expect although it's already covered the pasta. They give a lot of grilled chicken and mushroom so that kinda covers what the sauce lacks. Big portion too :)

The food here is not outstanding but definitely worth ur visit. It's not too italian that some people find it rather tasteless, not too american-y which sometimes changes a dish into some cheese fest. It's simply good and affordable food. A recommended place to hang out and chat with ur buddies in Central Park. Quiet and excellent service. Very attentive and fast, just the way I like it.
